![]() ![]() ![]() Olfactory mood shifters are very useful in distracting your brain from whatever it’s stuck on so on that basis, ignoring the price, it’s working on that level. At £120, it’s made for its market – I don’t think popping to my local leisure centre is where its aimed – and if money was no object, I’d definitely make room for it. It’s essential oil based so if you’re sensitive, it isn’t for you, but otherwise, I feel there are benefits to this combination in terms of grounding and mood shifting. If I’m to be picky, it’s a bit too woody for me – oak moss, tonka and cedarwood – I’d have liked to stay with the other notes for longer before the woods kick in. ![]() There’s a flash of tuberose too, so it’s a little bit heady – really, very pleasant indeed if these are your notes. The initial spritz is lively and cool and the notes of jasmine, orange flower, bergamot and geranium linger long enough to leave an impression. Maybe it’s just the association with calmness but as soon as I spritzed this into the atmosphere next to me, I started yawning! Maybe it’s actually released some stress (or is it dogs that yawn when they’re stressed?). And, yes, it’s from Kate Moss’s wellbeing collection. Although it’s called an EDP, you can use Cosmoss Sacred Mist EPD as either a personal fragrance or an atmosphere spray. I’m leaning into the Sacred Mist by spritzing the mood boosting and calming aromatic before yoga to see if it brings any additional peace to my practice. ![]()
